Planned Roadmap
Three things are being built here in parallel: The Dark Is Sleepless, our game; Tron OS, the agentic operating system we built to make a studio this small possible; and Quorra, which takes that same fleet inside the Unreal Engine editor. These are directional targets — dates may shift as we prioritise quality.
The Dark Is Sleepless
A co-op survival horror built in Unreal Engine. The countdown on our home page runs to the pre-alpha launch — everything below leads there.
The Studio Behind the GameDone
The groundwork is real: the project stands in Unreal Engine, the agent fleet has been trained on hundreds of Unreal skills, Quorra works inside the editor, and Steamworks is wired into the studio tooling — so the game is built by the whole studio, not one pair of hands.
Engine Upgrade & Core FoundationIn progress
We migrate The Dark Is Sleepless to Unreal Engine 5.8 and harden the core loop — movement, combat, and moment-to-moment feel — on the new engine.
Character Creator & World Systems
A deep character creator with fully customisable appearance, plus the dynamic world layer: destructible environments and drivable vehicles for traversal.
Online Co-op & Steam Integration
Co-op so you can brave the dark together, and the full Steam feature set — achievements, cloud saves, stats and rich presence — with Steam Deck support.
Content, Optimisation & Accessibility
More areas and story content, then a dedicated performance and accessibility pass so the pre-alpha is something you can actually sit down and play.
Pre-alpha Launch
The date on the home page counter. The first hands-on build goes out — supporters first — and what we learn from it drives everything after.
Beta & Steam Early Access
The build widens from pre-alpha to open beta and then Steam Early Access on PC — solo or online co-op, Steam Deck supported, with community feedback steering what comes next.
Living World
Regular content updates — new regions, story chapters and seasonal events — plus native Linux support, on the road to the full 1.0 release.
Tron OS v2
The agentic OS that runs the studio — already shipping to supporters, updated most weeks. See every feature →
The Fleet & the Command DeckShipped
A multi-model agent fleet with a real company structure, shared memory, group chat, pipeline and Kanban — plus the theme engine that makes it yours.
The Creative StudiosShipped
SEO, video, music, podcast, thumbnails and playable games — each taking a brief to a finished file, with a managed ComfyUI render node behind them.
Off the DeskShipped
The Android companion app on Google Play, secure device pairing, team login with per-feature roles, and notifications that reach you wherever you are.
Delivery You Can TrustShipped
Per-machine prefetched updates that apply in seconds, an offsite download mirror with automatic failover, and version pinning and rollback when an update misbehaves.
One Patreon, One LicenceShipped
Activate any install with the email on your Patreon — entitlement and licensing in one step, re-checked automatically, and active patrons enrolled into the Android app’s Play testing track without asking.
Agentic World-BuildingPre-alpha out
Quorra puts the fleet inside the Unreal editor. The pre-alpha is downloadable now — it has its own track to the right.
Tron OS v2 — the new generationRolling out
The v2 console is here: a HUD-style command deck with live meters and ring instruments, one design language across every panel, and the wordmark to match. The generation the rest of this column builds on.
Beyond the ScreenIn progress
Game development and publishing, the local Model Hub, smart home and security — all live in the OS today and stabilising fast. This is where most of the week-to-week work goes.
Server Manager & Hosted ServersIn progress
Manage every machine you own from one place, and — if you want — turn spare capacity into a hosting business with a storefront, billing and provisioning the agents run end to end. Built and testing internally now.
The Appliance ImagePlanned
An installable Tron OS ISO with a first-run wizard and QR device pairing — put it on a spare box and have the whole OS running without touching a terminal.
Home RedundancyPlanned
Run a second install on your own network as a warm standby, so the OS keeps going when the main machine doesn't.
Tron OS v3Planned
A ground-up pass with its own theme engine, once the feature surface settles — the generation after the v2 console. Everything above lands first.
Quorra
The same fleet, inside Unreal Engine 5.8 — a pre-alpha you can install today. See what works →
Pre-alpha for UE 5.8Shipped
The cockpit tab and the local Runner, installed with one command. Bring your own brain — Claude, Codex or a local model — and it works in the level you have open. Included with All Access.
Stability Before FeaturesPre-alpha
Surviving a crashed provider or a closed editor without a manual restart. This is the roughest edge of the pre-alpha and it gets fixed before anything new goes on top.
The Tron OS LinkIn progress
Point the Runner at a Tron OS install and the cockpit gets the whole fleet instead of one CLI — routing each task to the right agent, with the Unreal skills they have already been taught.
World-Building ActionsPlanned
“Build a town here.” Composite operations that lay out a district in one instruction rather than placing one actor at a time — the reason the whole thing exists.
Assets Without Leaving UnrealPlanned
Generate a model from a description or an image and import it straight into the project, and search the assets you already own from inside the cockpit.
Beyond The ViewportPlanned
A JetBrains Rider plugin so the same agent sits alongside your C++ work, plus engine versions past 5.8 and a Linux build of the Runner.
Open BetaPlanned
Out of pre-alpha once the above is solid. What the current testers hit decides how long that takes — there is no date on this one yet.
Tron OS ships to supporters today — see what's in it, or read the live progress board pulled straight from the repository.
