Alpha 0.1.2 is out
- The first launch after updating runs a short hardware check and picks a graphics quality level for you, and repairs installs that were stuck on the lowest settings with a 30 fps cap.
- Settings has an Unlimited frame-rate option.
- Movement settles more smoothly between idle, walking, crouching and view changes, and other players in co-op are smoothed better.
- The country and dam roads were rebuilt to follow the terrain, including a new cutting down to the Substation 3 approach.
- 26 houses that overlapped each other or stood in a street were separated, and 13 buildings that floated over slopes were given foundations.
- Roadside poles, lights, fences and player starts were repositioned, obstructing trees and old road pieces removed, and navigation rebuilt.
- From 0.1.1: co-op for up to four, the Vesper story end to end, the Rule, cover, the map, Quorra on the radio, saves and Continue, and clothing you find and wear.
Still rough: the characters. Feet can still slide, female characters use the shared walk, clothing can clip, and nobody's lips move yet. Also: everyone starts out named "Merritt", internet play needs UDP port 7777 forwarded, and Steam sessions aren't live yet. Windows 10/11 only, about a 12 GB download.
