Undercarrier V2.0.4: guns, gore and movement in one update

Until now the plan was two updates: V2.0.4 for new guns and V2.0.5 for movement. Both have been running together in our test builds for a while, so we’ve merged them. The next update is V2.0.4, and it’s the biggest one Undercarrier has had.
What’s in it
Guns
- Real weapon models replacing the placeholder guns and explosives, with reloads you can see: the revolver’s cylinder swings out, and the pistol drops its empty magazine.
- Attachments that change how each gun handles: sights, suppressors, foregrips, lasers and a flashlight that lights up the fog. Charms you unlock and hang on your guns.
- A proper break-action reload for the Twin Sisters.
- Dual pistols.
- Two rare top-tier weapons.
Gore
- Doom-style body explosions: hit an enemy hard enough and it bursts, spraying blood across the floors, walls and ceilings. Your gore setting decides how much you see.
- Headshots, with their own hit markers.
Movement
- Wall-running, with a secret on every map that only a wall-run can reach.
- Hang Time: land a hit in mid-air and you hang at the top of your jump for a moment. Airborne kills keep it going, and in Viking Mode it becomes a plunging slam.
- Throwing animations for every explosive.
Rattle and the rest
- A new look for Rattle: body, arms and HUD face.
- New animations for the Viking weapons and the enemies, and reworked Dark Crescents.
When
Most of this already works in our test builds. The top-tier weapons, Rattle’s new look and the Crescents are being built now.
Update, 16 October: to get V2.0.4 out sooner, the rare weapon variants and the motel makeover move to the patch after it. V2.0.4 goes to All Access members as an in-game update around the Kickstarter, which opens in November 2026. The pre-launch page is up: press Notify me on launch to hear the moment it goes live.
The full roadmap is on the roadmap page.
Pre-release: all art, audio and other assets are work-in-progress placeholders and will be replaced before release.
