Internal Alpha
okay people, i will be placing a alpha installer on my website for a test version of my game, keep in mind this is internal alpha and only for testing the launcher/patching system and login system but there is a working basic player, menus, normal functions for a game, and sudo-upgrades, currently registrations are closed until i feel that i am far enough along to provide an mvp(minimum viable product)currently, you as supporters and a select few have access. when i have enough safeguards in place to prevent IP theft, however, for a limited time, i will open it up to people to check out the progress. there is NO true gameplay as i am using a sandbox main map, you can check out the functions, controls, map, features and how it runs on your system, there are two major hurdles at the moment, first is that at the moment, there is no way to run the installation properly without administrator privileges as the install installs to the program files directory(yes, there is an uninstaller), you can change the install directory and it might change that requirement but i haven’t tested that yet, the other thing is that currently, because of the patching system, the game itself needs admin rights for the same reason above to properly update and launch the game as during the update/patching system needs to have access to the files even if they are in use to update them. the website is https://sleeplessgames.co but you can check the file in the attachments to get the launcher. once you have the launcher, you can keep it as it updates by itself and any new updates will be downloaded the next time it’s launched.
